Marylebone High Street Goes to the Fayre!

A few Sunday's ago Marylebone High Street was transformed into a summer soiree of food, flowers, fashion and fun!

The usually rather mellow high street became a bustling market place full of fumes of delicious barbeques, local delicacies, and pretty marylebone flowers!

As the fun-loving, party girls that we are, Apartment C just had to get involved! We decked out our window with fresh roses, served our trademark Rasberry Cocktails with the help of the FABULOUS Hendricks! (Who drew crowds from miles!) and had our beautiful Apartment C model Leyla to wear some gorgeous outfits in the window for the audiences admiration!!

Crowds gathered at our window to witness the fitness! Leyla looked wonderful in the Princess Tam Tam teddy, while she sipped on her G&T, reading one of our vintage trashy novels!

She also posed in a stunning and seductive set from Bordelle, wearing the Scallop waspie and Triangle Bralette that made on-lookers gasp!

At that point even the local coppers couldn't resist popping into the store and having a peek around the gallery, before hand-cuffing our lovely Samantha!

The Basement at Apartment C launched I S I S with more than just a big BOOM!

Following last weeks craziness, Apartment C was certainly the place to be!

It all began like this:

A luke warm summer evening- the sun setting in through our front shop window,

whilst Apartment C girls sneaked their way to the back bar where Hendricks was serving lusty red cocktails topped with a raspberry kiss!

Our beautiful guest DJ Pandora's Jukebox arrived wearing a fierce leopard print jacket, playing sensual tunes all night long- but of course ending the soiree with a "hit!"

It wasn't long till we had ques at our front shop! Apartment C was buzzing with journalists

from Harper's Bazaar, TANK, DANSK magazine, & ELLE!

Friends of Apartment C all gathered as they mingled around the gallery & lingerie sipping on

their fancy G&T's! Boy did we attract a sexy crowd!

When I was a little girl, I used to spend hours and hours playing with beautiful sets of paper dolls that my mother would bring home as a special treat for not making her completely insane that week. I would just escape into a parallel universe and let my imagination run wild, and build lives and stories, for my darling paper creatures.

I was so thrilled discover these amazingly beautiful and delicate paper....Yes paper eyelashes from new designer Paperself. Based on the ancient art of Chinese paper cutting, the designs for these eyelashes were inspired by the paper cutting skills that aristocratic girls were expected to master before becoming brides. Grab them while you can online or in the store!

Still need a bit of a paper fix?  Then meet Jum Nakao paper cutter extraordinaire! The dresses are made entirely out of paper.  The 2005 collection took over 700 hours of incredibly detailed work to produce, only to be ripped, torn to pieces by the models as they stood along the runway at the end of the show.
